Crawford Conservation

Crawford Conservation Inc. has been conserving paintings for over 20 years, and we are still excited to see what paintings are out there in need of preservation. We conserve approximately 50 paintings a year, so it gives us the time to get to know each painting well. What we do is first and foremost about the treatments we are performing, not about which approach is going to be most profitable. With this idea in mind, we have worked to maintain a high standard of treatment based on each painting’s needs. We do not choose quick methods that present more risk to the art work or by not performing necessary yet time-consuming treatments because they are less cost effective.
